Description:
This old-style dong ding oolong tea is one of the most famous teas in Taiwan because of its medium-fermented and medium-roasted process. The process gives the strong aroma, smooth taste and golden color.
In the past, the traditional way of manufacturing almost disappeared because it was too complicated (high technical thresholds and high failure rate). A tea farmer not satisfied with new products was searching for the taste of old-style Dong Ding oolong. He found tea masters who used to make this oolong tea with the traditional process, trying to get back the old taste.
Hand-picked tea leaves combined with traditional roasting methods give this tea with a very unique nutty aroma and a sweet taste.
